Gratitude Page of Love Squares

Hello Friends!

I have shared before that I am a big believer in a gratitude practice. Staying in that space of being thankful can really impact our overall outlook. I have truly found it to be life changing. But sometimes, we need a way to change our mindset quickly – maybe in the middle of the day as we encounter feelings of being overwhelmed, anxious, sad or just blah.

In one of my art journals I created this page of watercolor swatch squares. Next I drew a heart in the middle of the page. Then I asked myself:

“What do you love right now in this moment?”

And then I just started filling in each square with something I loved. I didn’t judge it or worry about what I wrote – I only responded to my intuition. What can I identify in this moment, knowing it can be completely different tomorrow and these squares could have all new words in them on any other day? I found it to be such a joyful process. It made my mind think about big and small things, dear relationships and fun indulgences. It helped refocus me on all that I have to be grateful for.

I am sharing this sheet of Love Squares with you to help you do just that.

I hope you will enjoy printing this sheet out and that you will spend some time filling out what you love right now. What are you thankful for in this moment? And the good thing is – you can repeat this practice as much as you want so don’t feel limited by what you write today. Print another one and tomorrow’s list can be completely different from today’s. You could do one every day if you want and turn them into a journal. This is all about you and it’s for your heart to spend a little bit of time reflecting on what you love right now. Life can be heavy and all the external forces can weigh on our internal peace. It’s my wish for you that giving yourself a moment to practice gratitude will give you a positive mindset and the “caffeine kick” to keep going.

I would love to see how you use your sheet of Love Squares so please tag me (@alliarnoldart) on Instagram if you would like to share! But I also know these lists can feel personal and private. Either way – I hope it brings you some joy today as we focus on gratitude!
